Portrait photography is all about capturing the essence of the subject.  For the photographer, this goes beyond all the know technical know-how and using a good camera to create a portrait, while directing the subject’s poses and facial expressions.  Because if the subject doesn’t have self-confidence, it will show in their final images. They must be comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
